The following are brief biographies of the management and staff of Crowley, White & Helmer, Inc. On occasion, we contract with other development professionals who provide high quality written materials.

Terry Crowley has over 33 years of successful management and development experience. Prior to establishing the firm in 1985, he was Director of Development for Metropolitan State University (St. Paul/Minneapolis, 1980-84), and Executive Director of Oneida Education Center (St. Paul, 1974-79). Terry has built and directed efforts that have realized many millions of dollars in corporate, foundation, small business, individual, and public support. He also has been an active volunteer on boards and committees of several nonprofit organizations; currently, he is a member of the board of directors of Mano a Mano Medical Resources and The Givens Foundation for African American Literature.

Nancy White has been a part of Crowley, White & Helmer, Inc. since its inception in 1985. Currently, she is responsible for management of the firm's office and business matters. Nancy works with consultants to ensure prompt response to client needs, as well as working with clients on contractual agreements and adjustments. Prior to her work at the firm, Nancy worked in administration for New Connection Programs, an adolescent chemical dependency treatment program. Nancy currently serves on the board of directors of Mano a Mano Medical Resources and Family Alternatives.

Tony Helmer As a result of providing excellent service to our clients since 2002, Tony became a partner in the firm in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Tony served as campaign coordinator for People Serving People (PSP), the largest homeless shelter in Minnesota. In that capacity, Tony helped to coordinate PSP's successful $7 million capital campaign. Tony works closely with Terry Crowley on campaign strategy, funding request preparation, and providing materials to clients and committee members for a well-run campaign. Tony also works directly with campaign volunteers to help facilitate their involvement in making calls to funding sources.

Melanie Bethke, Administrative Assistant, joined Crowley, White & Helmer, Inc. in 2004. Melanie brings years of experience in office administration to her administrative support role at Crowley, White & Helmer, Inc. She has worked for both large corporations and small private firms in varied positions such as office manager and project manager. Melanie works to provide high quality documents for our clients.
